About the event
Don't miss DJ JADO (Jake), a talented Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist and DJ with a lifelong passion for music and sound.
His musical journey began at the age of six, studying piano at the Tom Lee Royal Conservatory. By elementary school, Jake was performing violin concertos at Vancouver’s prestigious Chan Centre for the Performing Arts. In high school, he taught himself guitar and even performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics Torch Relay concert series.
After attending a summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he focused on funk fusion guitar, Jake returned to Vancouver and spent the next decade producing original music from his home studio.
Now, Jake is taking his passion public through the world of DJing — using beat, rhythm, and melody to express his musical story and connect with new audiences.
