Looking for free, family-friendly entertainment in Vancouver? Get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience as Stories on Wheels rolls into Cambie Village!
Blending visual art and comedy, Stories on Wheels is a high-energy, interactive storytelling performance inspired by the traditional Japanese art of Kamishibai, which means “paper theatre.” In this unique form of street theatre, stories are told using beautifully illustrated picture cards, shown inside a miniature wooden stage mounted on the back of a custom-built bicycle and is perfect for kids and adults alike.
