Proudly partnering with local organisations 46th Chown Scouts For nearly twenty years, members of the 46th Chown Scouts have volunteered at Cambie Village events, and in return, the CVBA provides sponsorship. The Scouts particularly enjoy dressing up and participating at the Cambie Village Halloween Haunt. Edith Cavell School Each year, the Cambie Village Business Association supports Edith Cavell students, staff, and families during their much-loved summer event, the Cavell Carnival. Emily Carr School Each year, the Cambie Village Business Association supports the initiatives at the Emily Carr Elementary School. Most notably, you can find CVBA staff hosting Mini-Golf at the Emily Carr-nival. Eric Hamber Griffins Pep Band The Eric Hamber Griffins Pep Band is invited to perform at the Cambie Village plazas. The CVBA provides sponsorship funds for the school’s music program. Douglas Park Community Centre Proudly partnering with Douglas Park at selected events, the CVBA provides additional entertainment and support at events hosted by the Douglas Park Community Centre. McDonald's McHappy Day Each May, Cambie Village team members roll up their sleeves on McHappy Day to join the local crew in-store to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. Food Stash Through the Vancouver BIAs’ city-wide Christmas Stockjoy silent auction, Cambie Village Business Association helps raise funds to reduce food waste and provide affordable choices for those impacted by food insecurity. Cambie Village Church The Cambie Village Church hosts the CVBA’s Christmas event each year, and provides a beautiful Cambie-facing space for our 20ft Christmas Tree. In addition, the Cambie Village Church participates in the CVBA’s Easter event. Trinity Central Church Trinity Central regularly participates and volunteers at Cambie Village annual community events, often providing a crafts station or family-friendly activities. St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church The Cambie Village Business Association helps sponsor the annual St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Christmas / winter bazaar. Little Mountain Baseball Little League The CVBA has assisted the Little Mountain Baseball Little League to attend international championships with sponsorship and support.
